Create PDF documents easily and for free

PDF is an extremely popular document format, and for good reason. The popular PDF viewer software Adobe Reader is free and widely installed – if you send a PDF document to your customer it will be unusual if they cannot open it on their computer.

If you wish to create PDF documents I invite you to try doPDF, a free PDF converter for both personal and commercial use. You can create PDF documents from Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other programs.

To create the PDF document all you have to do is ‘print’ the document – just like printing a document to a physical printer, but instead you will create a PDF document.

The screenshot below demonstrates how easy this is – select Print, choose the ‘doPDF’ printer, and click Ok to create your PDF document.
